The Emir of Kano, His Royal Majesty, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero will on Thursday lead other distinguished Nigerians to declare open, A ONE-DAY NATIONAL ROUNDTABLE ON VOLUNTEERISM FOR PEACE AND NATIONAL STABILITY.
The national discuss being put together by Hajiya Farida Musa Jauro Foundation is expected to address some of the contemporary challenges confronting Nigeria through volunteerism.
A statement signed by the National coordinator of foundation, Lanre Adebayo, PhD stated that the Director General, Institute for Peace and Conflict Resolution, Dr. Bakut Bakut will deliver the Keynote Address at the event’s opening ceremony on Thursday September 22, 2022 at the Nigerian Army Resource Centre, Asokoro, Abuja by 10:00am Prompt.
Dr. Adebayo added that Nigeria’s challenges can only be addressed by Nigerians hence the foundation embarks on the project as part of its contribution to National peace and stability.
