The former Governor of Ogun state, H.E Otunba Gbenga Daniel, received a young Environmental Officer, Mr. Femi Abolade who dedicated his book “Sanitary Rants” to the former Governor whose administration employed over 2000 Health Workers in the state, which was a feat that cannot be swept under the carpet.
The young man recounted Otunba Gbenga Daniel’s legacies while in office and submitted that OGD inspired him to aspire to be a Wolewole with a class, and that’s why the book “Sanitary Rants” is dedicated to the indefatigable, outstanding and the most people’s friendly Governor.
The presentation of the book took place at the Conference Hotel, Abeokuta, at exactly 2:10pm yesterday.
In another development, our correspondent discovered that the former Governor in one of his acts sponsored someone who he has not met to oversea for medical treatment.
The victim who suffered major injury on the head as a result of road mishap benefited from the philanthropic gesture of Otunba Gbenga Daniel’s humanitarian services under the auspices of the Gateway Front Foundation.
A family to the accident victim who contacted the former Governor on phone was surprised that former Governor could respond despite the fact the victim is not related or known to him.
The good deeds of Otunba Gbenga Daniel cannot be ignored as he has not stopped being good despite his inactiveness partisan politics.
